Hey, I’m Emma.
I’m a Pacific Northwest–based rodeo photographer with a deep respect for the sport, the people behind it, and the moments that make it unforgettable. I began photographing rodeo in 2022 at the Walla Walla Community College Rodeo, and what started as a passion quickly grew into a full-time pursuit.
Over the past several years, I’ve built my career working inside rodeo arenas across the Pacific Northwest, gaining experience in a wide range of settings and conditions. I’ve photographed every level of competition, from high school and college rodeos to open and professional events, learning how to adapt quickly and work safely and efficiently in the arena. That experience has shaped the way I shoot, anticipating moments before they happen and delivering consistent, high-quality imagery that reflects the intensity and precision of the sport.
My approach to rodeo photography is rooted in respect, for the athletes, the stock contractors, the committees, and the history of the sport itself. I strive to create images that not only document the event, but also tell the story behind it.
In addition to my in arena work, I’m passionate about educating the next generation of rodeo photographers. Through my educational resources and digital products, I aim to break down barriers to entry and share what I’ve learned about shooting, editing, and building a sustainable photography business within the rodeo world.
My faith is the foundation of everything I do, and I thank Jesus daily for the opportunity to use my talents in a way that honors Him. I’m also a proud mom, and I love raising my son around the rodeo community whenever I can.
Thank you for being here!
